Job Title Product Management Principal Specialist** All CVs must be submitted in English**About the area/department:Join a passionate team of experienced professionals, part of Amadeus AirOps providing solutions and services for both airports, airlines and air travel products that will truly define the travel experience of the future.Our team is multi-cultural and dynamic, offering a new challenging, and global role for those passionate about travel, design, and technology, ready to make a real-life impact by shaping the future of travel with the best user experience.Summary of the role:As a Principal Product Manager in the Delivery Management – Product Management team, you’ll help incubating the best in class, highly modular and adaptable Delivery Management System, comprising of Journey Delivery (transformation of Customer Management and Seating), and Service Recovery (transformation of Disruption) capabilities:
  • Support retailing transformation of the travel industry by Delivering orders and airport experience of the future
  • Enabling travel experience, operational efficiency, and Brand differentiation for the airlines with customer & journey centricity
You will be part of a core “incubation” team with Product Managers, UX, Solutions & pre-sales and work closely with our engineering counterparts based mostly in France & UK but also in India, Australia. Your responsibility and reach will be global; collaborating with customers, and internal cross-functional teams in all geographical markets & locations.In this role you'll:
  • Be responsible for and owning the User Interface, Digital & retailing enablement of the Delivery Management portfolio, which will serve Airlines Customers in multiple solutions
  • Understand the industry, the market, your customers, competitors, and potential partners
  • Build a deep product & portfolio knowledge
  • Define the Product vision, strategy, and Roadmap
  • Pilot Requirement gathering, product design, build, delivery & implementation with engineering and project teams
  • Monitor your product success
  • Opportunity Management: value hypothesis definition & validation
  • Building or keeping up-to-date financial business cases
  • Contributing to innovation with Engineering teams
  • Driving Go-to-market strategy with Product Marketing team and empowering sales, accounts, and solution teams to confidently promote your products
  • Owning the Product part of the portfolio business case
  • Contribute to a global product management practice
  • Build relationship with Key internal & external stakeholders (industry, partner, customers)

About the ideal candidate:
  • 5+ years of experience in Product Management or 10+ years in related roles (e.g., Product Owner).
  • Strong understanding of Agile and SAFe methodologies, and hands-on experience working within Agile Release Trains (Product Owner, Scrum Master, Agile Coach).
  • Excellent communication and analytical skills.
  • Eager to learn, about complex eco-systems and solutions, drive internal & external discussions and continuous improvement!
  • Comfortable switching between high-level strategic and detailed functional solutions discussions.
  • Experience in software product design is a plus.
  • Self-learner and proactive.
