The Senior Demand Planning Business Partner supports revenue and profit delivery by managing demand signals across products and customer channels. This role partners closely with Commercial Leadership and cross-functional teams (Demand & Supply Planning, Marketing, Sales, Finance) to ensure business plans are aligned with brand strategy and demand forecasts are accurate and actionable.Key Responsibilities:
- Demand Forecasting & Planning
- Lead the 24-month demand management process, generating and publishing consensus forecasts.
- Execute monthly demand cycles, co-piloting Demand Review meetings with commercial teams.
- Collaborate on baseline creation and forecast enrichment using historical data and commercial inputs.
- Data Analysis & Forecast Accuracy
- Work with statistical modelers to cleanse historical data and ensure forecast reliability.
- Analyze shipment, POS, SIT, market share, and promotional impacts to shape demand.
- Measure forecast enrichment accuracy using Forecast Value Add (FVA) and other KPIs.
- Commercial Collaboration
- Partner with Sales & Marketing to evaluate promotional effectiveness and apply future overlays.
- Contribute to product rationalization and portfolio optimization.
- Supply Chain Alignment
- Ensure accurate demand signals are passed to Supply Planning.
- Communicate demand changes proactively to manage service and inventory impacts.
- Process Leadership
- Own demand management KPIs (FVA, Forecast Accuracy, Bias).
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives across operational routines.
- Ensure compliance with global forecasting calendars and process design.
- High forecast accuracy and low bias.
- Effective inventory management with minimal obsolescence.
- Strong cross-functional alignment and responsiveness to market changes.
