- ** Your Role**:- Management of implementation projects for Kuehne Nagel Integrated Logistics - Execution within the regionally and globally aligned project management methodology and risk control mechanisms for all projects - Project responsibilities include requirements gathering, solution validation/ testing, deployment and stabilization of all deployed solutions
- ** Your Responsibilities**:- Establishes, tracks and reports on progress related to the entire scoped solution under implementation:Process (e.g. Operational Designs), People (e.g. related Operational, LSP and other related onboarding/ ramp ups in addition to resources/ SMEs required to support the project under implementation as per plan) and Technology (e.g. technical design templates to be used, modifications to those templates, realization of technical enablers, etc.)
- Ensure that the allocated projects are delivered within budget and in time
- Support to evaluate the solution & budget for new customer implementation projects during the Business Development cycle which can include project initiation, plan and design, validation, deployment and post deployment support.
- Accountable for implementation projects and resources in accordance with IL corporate standards
- Creates all the mandatory documents during all phases of the implementation lifecycle (for e.g. Initiation : Project Charter, Plan & Design : Operational Design and others as defined in the IL implementation Toolbox)
- Advocates, manages and coordinates activities related to an approved IL solution implementation, in conjunction with other KN IL functional areas, for all phases of the KN IL project lifecycle: project initiation, plan/ design, realization (i.e. development), validation (i.e. testing), final deployment (i.e. stabilization and handover to solution owners/ stakeholders) and post deployment activities (i.e. completion of remaining project documentation including “lessons learned” in support of future implementations)
- Train & support to train operational resources, client resources, logistics suppliers, and material suppliers
- Identification and validation of the communicated customers requirements
- Validate the Business Requirements against the standard product offerings (eControl, ProControl & FullControl)
- Managing the fulfilment of the business requirements and project timelines by the IT Teams
- Leads the Business Requirement Validation workshops and supports the definition of SOP & WI
- Managing the implementation budget and reporting against the proposal sold
- Managing the project governance and proactively managing the project risks
- Support Solution Design during Business Development Lifecycle as and when needed
- Supports and works closely with the related Business Management / Excellence Manager (i.e. customer account management), LPO function during all business implementation activities
- Travels as required - both to international and domestic locations - to support all aspects of KN IL’s solution implementation activities**Your Skills and Experiences**:- Bachelor or Master's level, ideally in Logistics or Supply chain management
- 5 years in Project Management (Preferably in Logistics), either in a LSP, consulting or Shipper environment
