- Define clear problem and market opportunity statements that lead to product features and capabilities with emphasis on delivering measurable customer usability, productivity benefits, and value following our strategy.
- Gather and document customer / market requirements from different user types and global regions Experience balancing longer-term projects with bugs and customer requests that align with the best possible user and company value.
- Manage requirements through an Agile development process and recommend appropriate trade-offs with engineering resources based on priority management.
- Emphasis on teamwork with platform leaders, fellow product managers, and businesses to deliver the best and easiest-to-use integrated system solution possible.
- The delivered product must create market difference and greater attachment opportunities for the portfolio. Identify innovation opportunities for the product line.
- Champion improvement in product line by creating both product difference, attachment opportunities and increasing our company intellectual property portfolio, while being an expert.
- Customer Experience digging into customer feedback, following up to further define issues and ability to collaborate with multiple teams and peer departments.
- Be an important representative of the business for the assigned product responsibility during development as the functional requirements are developed into a software feature, function or product that will be available to the market.
- Recognized by management and peers as an advisor on issues beyond assigned product line(s) and current business practices. This would include a understanding of Rockwell Automation technologies and their application.
- Bachelor's Degree in Relevant Field.

- 8+ years' experience in related field.
- Industry experience in control system design, implementation, commissioning, and support with knowledge of current Rockwell Automation software products
- Experience with a diverse set of technical and commercial aspects of automation control systems
- Experience with Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) methodology
- Products knowledge, and an ability to work with a geographically dispersed team to achieve position goals.
- Experience working with customers and defining customer problems.
- Must be able and willing to travel up to 10% of the time.
