Please visit our website:Job DescriptionThe Accounting Analyst will be working with the LATAM Finance team.Will work to provide a high level of financial support to members of designated areas in all aspects of budget management, costing, year-end audit preparation and other special projects as required.QualificationsEducation/experience:
- Bachelor´s Degree in Accounting.
- 5+ years' experience working in a similar position.
- Experienced working with Colombian finance matters (experience in other LATAM countries is a plus).
- Experienced in the following software packages: (Microsoft Project, Excel, Word and PowerPoint).
- Experienced using Microsoft Dynamic is a plus.
- Fluent in Spanish and English.
- Assist with the posting of journals into our accounting system.
- Assist with the review and reconciliation of balance sheet accounts.
- Assist with month end accounting and reporting
- Assist with analysis and running reports from accounting system such as project reviews.
- Assist with delivering intercompany process.
- Ensure that invoices are issued and delivered to customers in a timely manner, including loading to client portals where necessary.
- Review expense claims, returning them for correction if errors are discovered.
- Collect expenses and invoices for approval, send to outsourcing and organize payment list.
- Capture credit card, expense claims, purchase invoices and sales invoices into FMS.
- Collate list of expenses and invoices for debit notes charged back to client.
- Assist with updating other reports such as cashflow forecast
