- Develop positive relationships with key clients, key external collaborators, and Arup members leading energy-related business activities
- Develop a Latin American focused business plan to ensure strategic alignment to the broader Arup strategy
- Collaborate with the energy team from other offices with a focus on the US and Canada, and drive successful pursuit strategies with the technical delivery teams and regional bid team
- Champion a multidisciplinary approach to work winning to capitalize on opportunities across the value chain to support all service areas of Arup
- Deliver energy-related projects in the Americas Region. Lead significant projects for our team and supervise staff on a variety of projects in addition to providing technical skill development
- Support the Geography leader and the Energy Regional leader in the development of the team**Does this role inspire you?**
- Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, Mechanical engineering or similar.
- Minimum 15 years of operational experience in engineering and project/design management in the Energy sector, gained in a consulting environment or associated industry.
- Master’s degree in business administration (MBA) or finance preferred
- Proven record of managing large projects, mentoring, and providing team leadership
- Experience and interest in the project finance industry
- Excellent coaching skills and experience in managing people
- Experience in renewables is highly desired.
- Must be able to communicate fluently in both English and Spanish
