If you have a foundational understanding of category management, a willingness to learn, and the ability to support and assist our Category Managers in Berlin, we invite you to consider this exciting opportunity.As an Category Manager Associate, your responsibilities will include:

Conducting Market and Competitive Analysis: Delve into market trends, analyze the competitive landscape, and provide valuable insights for our category management strategy.

Ensuring Product Data Quality: Play a pivotal role in maintaining accurate and high-quality product information to enhance the customer experience and drive sales.

Analyzing Sales Data: Gain hands-on experience in dissecting sales data to identify patterns, trends, and opportunities for product performance improvement.

Reporting Inventory Observations: Collaborate with the team to monitor and analyze inventory levels, delivering concise reports to category managers for informed decision-making.

Generating Improvement Ideas: Actively contribute innovative ideas to enhance product performance and overall business processes, reporting directly to the category managers.

RequirementsWhat do we expect from you?

A degree in Business, Science, or a related field, demonstrating your commitment to a diverse skill set and a comprehensive understanding of industry dynamics.

1-2 years of experience in category management, project management, or business development, indicating your readiness for professional challenges.

Proficiency in navigating Microsoft Excel, with an added touch of expertise in Power Query for effective data manipulation.

Familiarity with Project Management tools, especially Asana, to streamline workflows and enhance collaborative efforts.

A solution-oriented mindset, prioritizing analytical insights, and showcasing effective communication and collaboration within a team setting.

Fluency in Advanced English (C1 level at a minimum), ready to contribute to international teams. Multilingualism (German, French, Dutch, Italian, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish) is a valuable asset, demonstrating versatility in global environments.
