Join us and help drive innovation and sustainability in our projects.🎯 PurposeIncluded in the Group Compliance functions responsibilities are to perform investigations. There is a need to complement the Group Compliance investigations function with an additional dedicated resource to perform complex, sensitive, and multi-faceted workplace investigations involving Equal Employment Opportunity (EEO) laws, civil and human rights, policy violations, such as discrimination, harassment, workplace bullying and retaliation.📋 ResponsibilitiesLead or assist with employee and industrial relations investigations across the geographic locations where the Worley Group operates. Report the results and conclusions of the investigation.
  • Ensure allocated investigations are brought to a satisfactory and timely conclusion by undertaking high quality, detailed, fair and professional investigations including identifying root causes and recommending remedial actions.
  • May assist Director Investigations as and when required.
  • Seek advice and guidance from Senior Compliance Manager – Ethics Helpline and Employee Relations Investigations as and when required.
  • Provide guidance to non-investigative staff as required.
  • Reports to be reviewed by Senior Compliance Manager – Ethics Helpline and Employee Relations Investigations and approved by the Chief Compliance Officer.
  • Ensure case records are accurate and up to date in case management system.
Analysis and MonitoringAnalyse, monitor and track investigation and employment patterns and trends to identify potential disparity or systemic issues and propose related wide remedies.Contribution to Group Compliance Improvement initiativesProvides compliance assistance and support on employee and industrial relations issues, including policy creation and interpretation, compliance risk assessment, trend analysis and best practice recommendations.QualificationsWhat you will bring
🔍 Requirements:Tertiary qualified in law, human resources, or similar discipline.Specialist training and accreditation in investigative fields including investigative interviewing is desirable.A working knowledge of the MS Office suite is essential.Working knowledge of computer forensic and eDiscovery tools and platforms desirableKey Skills & Competencies
  • Advanced knowledge of corporate EEO, civil and human rights, harassment, bullying and workplace investigations which may include race, color, religion, creed, ethnicity, sex, national origin, age, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, and other similar complaints or policy violations.
  • Ability to lead and conduct all aspects of complex workplace investigations.
  • Extensive experience in in investigative interviewing techniques and methodologies.
  • Working knowledge of Modern Slavery compliance and investigations.
  • Excellent written and report writing skill including the ability to distil complex detail information into easy understandable chronology of events.
  • Ability to adapt, develop, modify, and execute suitable techniques, processes, tools and procedures fulfil the requirement/needs of the investigation scope and the business requirements
  • Ability to operate and independently engage with a broad range of personnel across the business at the various levels, departments, and disciplines to communicate and source information.
