A maritime spare parts trading company is looking for an intern to support the Operations and Sales teams within its International Business department. The ideal candidate should have an interest in research, supplier management, purchasing, logistics, and international trade, as well as in customer prospecting and international market analysis.
Responsibilities
Operations
Supplier Research and Management Search for, evaluate, and maintain relationships with international suppliers, develop databases, and prepare comparative quotations.
Purchasing Management Follow up on purchase orders, verify invoices, and maintain records of purchasing and logistics processes.
Logistics and International Trade Coordinate international shipments, supervise import and export documentation, and track deliveries.Sales
Client Research and Prospecting Research potential clients through various platforms and make cold calls to identify decisionmakers.
Database and CRM Management Maintain client databases and update the companys CRM system.
Quotations and Sales Followup Prepare international quotations and follow up on client orders.
Market Research and Marketing Assist in creating international marketing campaigns.
Requirements
Student in the final semesters of International Business, Foreign Trade, Business Administration, or related fields.
Conversational English minimum level B2.
Desired knowledge in technological research tools Shipserv, Equasis, Ship Info, etc..
Good knowledge of Excel and CRM systems.
Availability to sign an internship agreement.
